The American Wind Symphony sent Point Counterpoint II — a floating stage and canopy designed by architect Louis I. Kahn — down the great rivers, commissioning new works for the wind band and playing for towns that had never seen anything of the kind.

We don’t think it’s a concept that should be abandoned. So we’re taking the first honest steps — carefully, in the right order — and, before anything else, trying to find each other again.
